Valentines 2009

For the past few years on Valentine Day, our little family crew (full of boys) has been celebrating by making a Spectacular dinner that we would usually don't cook or afford very often.
Daren and I make the food, which consisted of some New York steaks shaped into a heart, shrimp (this was our first year of this food of choice which ended up being the biggest hit!!), some green beans and a baked potato.

While we made the dinner, the boys set the table with our family china goblets and paper products. (Yes, because my china is still too nice for boys to handle, I made them set the table with paper plates)

All three boys worked hard to make the table look just right! We all sat down, and Tazj who loves to say the prayer, gave the blessing on the food! It was so CUTE!It was just a Fun filled day with lots of foods, laughter and fun. Myself and Daren want this holiday to become a tradition with our boys and when they find girlfriends and wives, that they will always plan on coming to our "Valentine Feast" at the house!

I just love ALL 4 of my boys so much!! They bring so much Happiness to me everyday!!
I LOVE YOU ALL!
Daren, Drew, Ty & Tazj!!

Thanks for your comment. Our house isn't perfect but WE love it! The pool is WONDERFUL in the hot summer - but it isn't to much use to us right now! This was such a cute post. Brian and I usually don't celebrate Valentines Day because it is such a "Hallmark Holiday". But you had a really cute idea on how to celebrate it as a family! We might have to steal your idea next year! Oh... and you have such a CUTE family! I can't believe how big your boys are getting!!!
